The Container Straddle Truck is a special lift truck constructed for the pick-up, transport and deposit of single container. The truck straddles the load (container) lifts it from underneath and transports it this way.

Advantages:

• • only relative narrow aisle required for the transport of containers
• • saves space when containers are stored single high

The Disadvantage is the fact that the driver has poor visibility - and that container storage areas (single high) need considerable more space.
