Driver Position

Forklift and material handling vehicles have two basic driver positions.

• • Driver Seated
• • Driver Standing

The drivers seat or standing position must be configured and designed to allow for adequate operator space. The area must be protected from falling obstructions and in the case of a standing position a non-slip mat is required.
